Spain: Hundreds demand release of those arrested during "March of Dignity"

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the Plaza de Castilla Court of Justice in Madrid on Monday to demand the release of 29 activists arrested during Saturday's massive 'March for Dignity'.

Dozens of riot police stood guard at the court's entrance as several vans full of officers remained on standby.

Two of the protesters who had been detained Saturday had been released by the early afternoon.

March for Dignity protests are continuing this week in Madrid, though on a smaller scale than Saturday's mass action that saw people travel from all over the country to participate.
