Russia: Thousands turn out supporting a Russian Crimea in Tula

More than 7,000 people attended a rally in Tula south of Moscow on Saturday in support of a Russian Crimea, ahead of Sunday's referendum on whether the peninsula will rejoin the Russian Federation.

Participants, which included students, workers, cossacks and war veterans, held posters reading 'Russian people do not leave behind!', 'Crimea, Tula is with you' and 'For Crimea! Against the War'.
