Russia: Putin attends cross country relay at Sochi Paralympics
Russian president Vladimir Putin attended a cross country skiing relay with Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko at the Paralympics in Sochi on Saturday.
Russia came first, making the country the leader in the Paralympic medal tally with 27 golds, meanwhile Ukraine's team won silver.
After the competition, the president congratulated the Russian Paralympians on their success in the four stage mixed relay event, and shook hands with the Games' attendees at the Laura Cross Country Ski and Biathlon centre.
