Russia: Thousands rally for Crimea in Kazan
Around 10,000 activists rallied on Millennium Square in Kazan on Wednesday in support of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
Demonstrators say they want to maintain friendly ties between the people of Russia and Crimea, and to oppose 'fascism.' Many political parties and social organizations were present at the rally.
Participants held up banners and anti-fascist flags including ones that read: "Fascism will not pass!", Cheer up, brothers!,"and "Stand up for Crimea!."
