Ukraine: Poroshenko denied access to Crimean Parliament

The People's Deputy of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, was denied entry into Crimean parliament on Friday evening by demonstrators.

Demonstrators cheered as he arrived at the parliament building, before blocking the entrance, forcing him to leave escorted by police.

Protesters threw bottles and other debris at Poroshenko while shouting "traitor" as he made his way to a taxi. As Poroshenko tried to leave in a taxi protesters jumped on top of the car bonnet while police attempted to pull them off.
