      Former French President Nicolas Sarkozy held a speech on German-French relations and the importance of the European Union's role at the Allianz Forum in Berlin on Friday.

      Sarkozy also addressed the current situation in Ukraine. He urged for mutual cooperation between Russia and the European Union.
