France: 'Day of Anger' rocks central Paris

Paris exploded into violence during a "Day of Anger" against President Francois Hollande on Sunday. Videographer Jonathan Moadab was detained by authorities for filming this footage of a set-to between protesters and police.

Protesters yelling "No to gay marriage" and "France is a nation" marched in Paris. Fifty mostly right-wing groups participated in the protests, demanding Hollande resign claiming that his government's actions were destroying the country. Protesters and police in riot armour clashed, with tear gas being deployed.

Moadab was detained around midnight local time (23.00 GMT) Sunday evening, and released from custody at 18.00 (1700 GMT), Monday.
