      Switzerland: Process of engaging Iran is underway - Lavrov

      Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov spoke on Wednesday in Montreux at the Geneva-II conference, outlining how all international parties agree that Iran will need to play a "key role" if a solution is to be found to the Syria conflict.

      Despite Tehran having its invitation to Geneva-II withdrawn, Lavrov said it is necessary to find a way to "engage Iran to support talks between all Syrian parties."

      "Of course, both sides are bitter about each other, but what is important is that the process is underway now," he added.
