Russia: US boxing legend Roy Jones to take Russian citizenship?

American boxing legend Roy Jones, announced his plans to obtain Russian citizenship ahead of his pre-Christmas party at Moscow's El Gauchito restaurant on Wednesday. He also treated those present to a rap performance.

When asked about his plans, Jones replied: "If they want you that bad and they love you that much, then you go where you're appreciated. I'm appreciated bigger here than I am at home, so why not?"

Roy Jones arrived in the Russian capital on December 16, five days ahead of his World Champion WTU fight at the Dinamo Stadium against French boxer, Zine Eddine Benmakhlouf. The fight will be the first in the history of professional boxing where only the winner takes home the prize money.
