Ukraine: Kiev's protesters just won't leave the streets
Protesters keep rallying on the streets of Kiev on Saturday evening, after crowds were dispersed at Independence Square during violent clashes in the morning. Many of them wore masks in order to hide their faces from police in an attempt to avoid future arrest.
Protesters are upset over the Ukrainian government's decision not to enter into an association agreement with the European Union.
Ukraine has experienced more than a week of ongoing protests, with some in favour of integration with the EU and others opposed to it. Thousands had gathered in Kiev's Independence Square each day before security services forcefully dispersed the crowds.
