USA: 'Multi_Viral' rapper talks working with Assange

René Pérez Joglar, one half of Puerto Rican rap duo Calle 13, revealed what it was like to work with Julian Assange on their latest track "Multi_Vital" during an interview in New York

The song, which was released on November 13, features a spoken word contribution from the Wikileaks founder, who talks in the track about the "Power of people armed with the truth.".

The song was conceptualised with the help of fans on Twitter in June, and mentions popular protest movements 15-M in Spain, and Mexico's 132.

Pérez, who sings in the band with step-brother Eduardo, said of Assange "Julian is for me a really open-minded guy", and that he "didn't detect any arrogance as I heard from some".
