Germany: Dogs get down to Rihanna in dancing competition

Dogs and their owners shook all they had at the third international Dogdance tournament Sunday. The tournament took place in Freiburg, as part of the annual "MEIN HUND" fair, which features anything and everything relating to man's best friend.

Dog owners needed only to bring themselves, their dogs, music and choreographic props to the two-day event in order to compete against other canines for the prize. Music choices were eclectic, from Russian cartoon themes to Rihanna.

Alongside the dance competition, the event featured informational stands covering the A-Z of owning, buying and grooming a dog, as well as advocating animal rights.
