Russia: More arrests follow migration riots

Moscow continued to play host to clashes on Tuesday following riots sparked by the murder of a man said to have been killed by a migrant worker, with more than 50 people arrested by riot police.

Two shopping malls in the south of Moscow were closed early in the day after posts on social networks called for a rally at 7pm local time. Police cotinued to patrol the area most of the evening and detained several people, including one in possession of brass knuckles. Police later detained a group of nationalist activists for attempting to disturb public order.

Police announced late on Tuesday the arrest of a suspect in the killing, an Azerbaijani man who was picked up in the town of Kolomna outside Moscow.
