Spain: F1 driver Maria de Viollota died of natural causes
Parents of the famous Formula one former-driver Maria de Villota arrived at the morgue where her body was brought after being found dead, on Friday, in Sevilla.
Villota’s body was found in her room at the Hotel Confgresos by the staff, who called the emergency services. The doctors tried to revive her without success before bringing the corpse to the morgue. The 33-year old died of natural causes as the autopsy confirmed on Friday, with some sources reporting that she suffered a cardiac arrest.
The former driver was supposed to present her autobiography book on Monday 14. Villota suffered a car accident 18 months ago in which she lost an eye and almost perished.
