Russia: Medvedev experiences MAKS air show
Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev visited the opening of the MAKS air show in at Zhukovsky airfield near Moscow on Tuesday. The prime minister examined exhibitions of the newest flight technologies and watched flights demonstrations.
He was accompanied by the First Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and a number of other industry executives of the state companies and corporations.
The international airspace exhibition is held every two years in the city of Zhukovsky, outside Moscow since 1993. The event focuses on demonstration of the latest Russian technologies.
