Russia: Putin interrupts meeting to take call with Cameron
Russian President Vladimir Putin was forced to interrupt a meeting on the fuel and energy industry being held in the Kemerovo region, Monday, to take a phonecall with British Prime Minister David Cameron.
Russian President, Vladimir Putin said, “I need to discuss it with my British colleague (David Cameron). I would like for the minister to present the relevant information, and then for Mr. Dvorkovich and Mr. Sechin to begin the discussion. I’ll be right back. Thank you.”
The talks were supposedly devoted to the recent exacerbation of the Syrian crisis after opposition accused government forces of using chemical weapons in Damascus suburbs and the unidentified shooters’ attack on the UN vehicle of chemical investigators on Monday.
