Germany: Brangelina fever as Jolie and Pitt open World War Z
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hit the red carpet in Berlin for the premiere of World War Z on Tuesday. Following similar launch parties in London and Paris on Monday, Brad described the film as "epic" and "intense".
Angelina, dressed in a long white gown, moved swiftly past the press areas and made a beeline for the fans, where the 38-year-old star was greeted by a renditon of 'Happy Birthday'. London's premiere on Sunday marked Angelina's first public appearance in the red carpet since she revealed she had undergone a pre-emptive double mastectomy after tests revealed she had a projected 87% risk of contracting breast cancer, due to genetic factors.
World War Z, adapted from the novel by Max Brooks, is the story of a man who travels the world to find an answer to the zombie pandemic that threatens the survival of the human race. Directed by Oscar-winner Marc Forster, the film has been picked to open the 35th Moscow International Film Festival ahead the worldwide release date on June 21.
