Germany: Thousands of almond trees blossom as Rhineland-Palatinate welcomes spring

Almond blossom season began in Rhineland-Palatinate, heralding the start of spring and attracting nature lovers from far and wide.

Footage taken on Friday shows visitors strolling on the 'Almond Nature Trail' in Neustadt, enjoying the blossoms and taking pictures.

The Palatine almond path extends hundred of kilometres to Schweigen-Rechtenbach, just before the French border.
