US President Joe Biden complimented Russian ‘Channel One’ cameraman Yuri Sholmov's biceps during the 'Group of Twenty' leaders' visit to the Taman Hutan Raya mangrove forest in Bali on the sidelines of the G20 summit on Wednesday.

"I do, I very much worry about this guy's muscles. His biceps are as big as my calves! Look at this. There's a man. I hope we're on the same side," Biden joked.

The President was then informed that the camera operator was in fact, Russian.

"I don't care who he is. He's got some real biceps. We call them 'guns'," Biden added.

French President Emmanuel Macron also praised Sholmov's physique.

"This is good for training," Macron quipped.

Later, Yuri Sholmov shared his thoughts after his bizarre meeting with Biden and Macron.

"He came up and started walking towards me slowly. I wasn't even expecting it, so I started backing away. He started saying how big my hands were, touched my biceps," the cameraman said.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova also commented on Sholmov’s exchange with the French and US Presidents via her Telegram channel.

"Look at Macron. He's rejoicing. He's gesturing with admiration. If he had let RT [channel's employees] into the Elysee Palace, our guys would have shown him more than that," she said.

The G20 summit takes place in Indonesia until November 16. Top officials from Russia, China, the UK, the USA, Mexico, Argentina, India, Germany, France, Indonesia, Australia, Turkey, Brazil, South Korea, South Africa, Italy, Canada, Japan, Saudi Arabia and others are attending.
