
Indonesia: Russian FM Lavrov departs from Bali as G20 Summit enters Day 2
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has finished his official visit program at the G20 summit on Tuesday night and left Bali.
His plane could be seen taking off from Denpasar International Airport heading back to Russia. Lavrov represented Russia in absence of President Vladimir Putin at the 17th annual gathering of the leaders of the Group of Twenty, which wraps up in Indonesia on November 16.
During his short stay on the resort island of Bali, the Russian Foreign Minister participated in the working sessions of Day 1 as well as held a number of bilateral meetings including ones with Chinese counterpart Wang Yi, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, and also briefly spoke with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
