An archive of free masonry books amassed by Heinrich Himmler has been collected by the University library in Poznan.

"This collection is unique because these are different books than the ones I have been working on so far. This halo of mystery, these codenames, the fact that not everything is written directly makes opening each of these books a bit like an adventure. And when we discover what is contained in this book, I feel genuine joy and a bit of pride," explained the curator at the library Karolina Tomczyk-Koziol.

The collections were sent to Poland by Himmler himself when he scattered them throughout Masonic lodges as the Nazi regime started to show signs of falling.
