The British Prime Minister Theresa May announced that the UK Cabinet has approved a draft Brexit withdrawal agreement, saying that it is in the country’s ’best interest’, speaking from Downing Street in London on Wednesday.

She added that cabinet had "a long, detailed and passionate debate on the draft withdrawal agreement" and on the UK’s relation with the EU.

"The collective decision of the cabinet was that the government should agree to the draft withdrawal agreement," May stated.

The Prime Minister stressed that the choice was either agreeing on a deal which "delivers on the vote of referendum" or "leave without deal or no Brexit at all."

"I firmly believe with my head and my heart that this is a decision which is in the best interests of our entire United Kingdom," May concluded.

The announcement comes after a cabinet meeting on the withdrawal deal which was agreed between UK and EU. A Brexit summit with the EU’s 27 leaders will be held on November 24 and 25.
