At least five people, including a gunman, were killed and 10 more injured in a shooting that involved an elementary school in Rancho Tehama, Northern California, Tuesday. The wounded, some of whom are children, have been taken to a local hospital.
The shooting reportedly spread across seven sites, including the local elementary school.
The attacker’s motive is yet to be identified. According to Assistant Sheriff Phil Johnson, the assailant appears to have "no real connection" to the victims and the victims are believed to be "random selections."
