The death toll has reportedly risen to four after an alleged terror attack in Westminster on Wednesday, where a police officer was reportedly stabbed and a car driven into a crowd of people, in two serious incidents.

St Thomas’ hospital reported that one woman died in the Bridge attack, and the Police officer stabbed has reportedly died at the scene, according to a MP Tobias Ellwood who reportedly gave him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Aerial footage showed the car which allegedly drove into pedestrians and cyclists crashed at the railings on Westminster Bridge.

The Houses of Commons, which earlier hosted Prime Minister's Questions, has now been suspended with MPs being told to wait in the chamber while the incident was resolved. Prime Minister Theresa May was ushered out of the palace by armed police.
