Serbia: Self-confessed Russophiles open 'Putin Cafe' in Kragujevac
Lovers of all things Russian relaxed at the newly-opened 'Putin Cafe' in Kragujevac, Sunday.
Discussing the idea behind the Putin Cafe, one of the owners of the establishment, Igor Milosevic, said: "We came up with this idea after our group of friends decided to start this story for all the people who are Russophiles, and there are many of them in Kragujevac and throughout Serbia. Also, we needed a place to hang out every day."
"We are great admirers of Vladimir Putin and his work. Also, it is well known that Serbs are very well connected with Russians so that's how we got the idea about this," he added.
The interior of the bar is covered in Russian memorabilia including pictures of Russian President Vladimir Putin and prints of Moscow.
