European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell met Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti on Saturday in Ohrid ahead of the EU-mediated talks between the two leaders.

Footage shows Borell being welcomed by North Macedonian President Stevo Pendarovski and having meetings alongside Slovak Minister of Foreign Affairs Miroslav Lajcak with both Vucic and Kurti.

Borrell is set to discuss the implementation annexe, which is considered an integral part of the agreement on the path to normalising relations between Pristina and Belgrade with Kurti and Vucic.

In February, Vucic and Kurti verbally endorsed an 11-point EU plan on normalising relations.

Kosovo and Serbia are likely to become part of the Open Balkan single market, after agreeing on a normalisation plan during the EU-mediated dialogue.
