The aftermath of the deadly earthquakes across Syria was seen in drone footage captured in Aleppo on Tuesday.
Aerial views shows emergency crews at the site of a collapsed building, using heavy machinery to clear the debris. Traffic and locals can be seen on the busy road just metres from the scene.
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Turkey at 04:17 local time (01:17 GMT) on Monday. A second, slightly smaller quake came less than 12 hours later, with the impact of both felt across the Middle East.
Structures and buildings were reported to have collapsed in many cities across Syria, including Aleppo and Hama. The Citadel of Aleppo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, was also damaged.
According to the Syrian Health Ministry, the country’s death toll stands at 1,262. The World Health Organisation warned that total casualties across Syria and Turkey could reach 20,000.
