Iconic Kobe Bryant's jersey is hitting the auction block and it’s expected to be his most valuable item ever to go up for sale in Sotheby’s New York as seen in footage on Tuesday.
Kobe Bryant's jersey was worn in 25 games, during his 2007 and 2008 MVP seasons, generating what was to become the 'Mamba mentality', 'the quest to become the best version', according to Sotheby’s Vice President Brahm Wachter.
The company expects the jersey to be sold for 5 - 7 million USD (4.5 - 6.3 million EUR) on the online auction and it comes with a selection of photographs of those iconic LA-based murals by Jonas Never.
"What makes Kobe so special to so many people is that not just athletes or fans that identify with him," explained Wachter, adding "it's executive to people trying to accomplish the most in their lives."
