Forest of magic! Tokyo light up in Christmas illumination
Visitors and residents marvelled at the annual light show near Tokyo’s Roppongi Hills on Friday.
Shots show streets along which trees were hung with fairy lights. Residents took selfies and group photos, as well as danced.
Formerly known as the 'Roppongi Hills Christmas Illumination 2022', the display of lights began in mid-November and is scheduled to end on December 25. The illuminations are on daily from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Every year, the 400-metre-long Keiakizaka Street behind Roppongi Hills becomes one of the most popular stroll spots for couples in love, with trees adorned with bright blue LEDs and the Tokyo Tower in the background.
