Bimbim, a man living in Sawangan, Indonesia, has used his house for the good of animal kind.

Bimbim has converted his home into a shelter for some 70 stray cats with disabilities in Sawangan, as seen on Thursday. He also runs other shelters nearby for hundreds of street animals.

Bimbim takes care of around 800 stray cats found in the local areas of Parung and Depok. Many cats in his care suffer from disabilities such as blindness and damaged ears.

Bimbim's love of pets extends to all animals; he also houses several dogs with disabilities at the shelter.

Although he cares for the animals through the good of his own heart, running such a shelter can be costly. "I got a lot of help from donations from people who care about the existence of these disabled cats," he explained.
