Top Iranian nuclear physicist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi died after an attack in Absard, near Tehran, on Friday.
Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi, the alleged head of Iran's nuclear weapons programme, was reportedly taken to hospital, but announced dead, following a targeted attack.
Footage shows the crime scene where the attack took place, including photographs of the bloody aftermath.
According to local reports, the scientist's car was bombed and hit with small arms fire.
"A few minutes ago at Ab Sard Boulevard, an important atom scientist was killed. We don't know yet who killed him. The military is looking into this. We still don't have specific information on this," the camera operator can be heard to say over the video footage.
Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif said on Twitter that he believed Israel to have played a "role" in the attack, while the Israeli military, as well as the Israeli prime minister's office, have refused to comments on reports of the incident.
It is not yet clear if the assailants escaped the scene of the attack or were apprehended.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu named Fakhrizadeh-Mahabadi as the head of Iran's alleged nuclear weapons programme in 2018.
