
Syria: Explosion after an alleged missile strike filmed near Damascus
Footage filmed late on Monday purportedly shows an Israeli missile hitting the ground and exploding south of Damascus.
According to Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the missile was one of several which were fired from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, many of which reportedly intercepted by Syrian Arab Army (SAA)'s air defence.
At least two Syrian soldiers were killed and several were injured in the missile attack which reportedly targetted military sites south of Damascus. Other reports have indicated civilians and foreign forces to have also died in the missile attack.
Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has not commented on the missile attack so far.
