USA: Police officers reported shot in 'active shooter situation' in New Jersey

Police cordoned off an area in Jersey City, New Jersey on Tuesday after what the Sheriff's Office called an 'active shooter situation'. Footage shows officers and a helicopter hovering over the area.

Reports suggest that multiple people, including a police officer were killed.

New Jersey Transit light rail and bus service were reportedly suspended or redirected in parts of the city.
