Argentina: 'Today I felt I was in heaven' - Maradona on coaching debut
Former Argentinean football legend Diego Maradona held a press conference in the city of La Plata on Sunday, after making his debut as new head coach of team Gimnasia and Esgrima La Plata.
The recently designated head coach was seen walking with some difficulties because of his recent knee surgery, before taking a seat to talk to the press and show the team's t-shirt with his name on it.
When asked about how he felt today when everyone was chanting his name, he said that "Today I felt I was in heaven," before moving on to topics regarding Lionel Messi's way of playing while he was directing the Argentinean national team and the 1994 doping incident.
Maradona, who is now embarking on his sixth club management role, is expected to help set the Gimnasia and Esgrima La Plata team straight after several loses.
