
State of Palestine: Teen reported killed by Israeli forces in border protest
A 15-year old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli forces during a protest in the northern Gaza Strip near the Erez border crossing on Wednesday, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
The Palestinian teenager reportedly died of a head injury. Gaza's Health Ministry say the boy was shot in the head and died of his wounds. Other reports say the boy was killed when a tear gas canister struck him on the head.
More than a dozen were wounded in the protest. Injured demonstrators were seen being evacuated from the site of the protest as tear gas billowed.
Israeli forces reportedly used rubber bullets and live fire to disperse protesters. Demonstrators hurled rocks and other objects at Israeli forces.
