Yemen: Anti-corruption protest in Aden met with shots into the air

A protest in the Yemeni government's provisional capital of Aden, was met by government forces reportedly firing into the air on Thursday.

Protesters were marching against the government, whom they accuse of corruption. They were also demonstrating against rising food and fuel costs.

Members of the Yemeni presidential guard are alleged to have fired warning shots into the air to force the protesters to leave the area, according to local media reports.
