An album of mugshots and signatures of Adolf Hitler's henchmen has resurfaced in the UK after more than 70 years and is due to go up for auction in early September.

The album, presented by C&T Auctions in the Kentish village of Kenardington on Wednesday, is entitled 'Nazi Cavalcade.' The album is expected to fetch £18,000 ($23,628; €21,200) when it goes on the block on September 7.

The album was put together by Allied intelligence officer Hank Schardt. The signatures in the document were used for comparison with those of Nazi officials, in order to confirm the identities of those who signed off on orders for atrocities committed by the Third Reich. It contains over 230 signatures and mugshots and played a key role in the Nuremberg trials.

Among those featured in the album are Hermann Goering and Josef 'Sepp' Dietrich.
