UK: UKIP launches London mayoral manifesto
The leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP) Nigel Farage joined his party's London mayoral candidate Peter Whittle on stage at a rally in London's Emmanuel Centre, Tuesday, to present UKIP's manifesto for the capital's mayoral elections.
Whittle's campaign focuses heavily on reducing immigration into the UK, saying that "to do this we have to leave the EU".
With Farage endorsing Whittle on stage, he added that "We are clearly in the third place, we are clearly on the rise, we are clearly going to get people elected, on to that assembly, and I am very confident about the calibre of those people."
