Russia: Kiev is failing to implement Minsk agreement, say DPR/LPR representatives
Representatives of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR/DNR) and Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR/LNR) Denis Pushilin and Vladislav Deinego accused Kiev of not implementing protocols of the Minsk agreement in Moscow, Monday.
The remarks were made at a roundtable meeting dedicated to discussing the Minsk agreements and the conflict through the eyes of residents of Donbass. Pushilin, the vice-chairman of the self-proclaimed DPR, called for a full implementation of the Minsk agreements, but added that he believes Europe needs to “put pressure on Kiev” to achieve this. The LPR's Vladislav Deinego accused Ukraine of not fulfilling “any one of the protocols” of the February agreement.
A meeting of the trilateral contact group, representatives of Ukraine, the Russian Federation and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) is planned to take place in Minsk on July 7.
