The Kalinkino district of Donetsk was shelled by pro-Kiev forces at 04:00 local time, Friday. Fires were started in two houses which suffered direct hits, leaving one completely destroyed and others severely damaged. Apricot, Cuban, and Rainis streets were all affected. There were no civilian casualties as all residents were hiding in basements at the time of the bombardment.
Electricians will continue working Friday to repair broken infrastructure and restore electricity to a few areas of the city.
