The incident took place on Thursday when two police officers were killed after they arrived on a report that a man had stabbed a woman. The suspect opened fire with what appeared to be a hunting rifle. According to media reports, another woman at the scene was later confirmed dead.

According to police officials, two women managed to escape from the home.
