Several Parisian high schools entrances were blocked by students unions as a part of protest against the pension reform on Monday.
On the eve of the great national mobilisation against the pension reform, young people wanted to express their dissent blocking the entrance of Racine High School as seen in footage.
"This is the proof that the government is setting up an unequal system", said one of Racine's High School Student, Loic, "So we are defending ourselves against it".
Footage shows protester rallying with banners reading "Racine equality", "Retirement before arthritis", "Retirement at 64 and why not at 69? If you want to be fucked, you might as well choose your position!" and others protesting against the governmental decision of extending the retirement age.
Students are getting prepared to mobilise on Tuesday.
The Macron government’s divisive overhaul to pensions will see the retirement age rise from 62 to 64 by 2030, sparking widespread criticism and calls for industrial action.
According to Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne, the minimum age to be eligible for a full pension will increase gradually by three months every year.
