The Filipino artist Danny Ponce is well known in Qatar because of his outstanding sculptures made of spoons and forks.
The artist, who is working on a new project after completing his Arabian horse head sculpture, explained that he gets his inspiration for his designs from TVs, magazines, and also pictures.
"I'm doing this one without using any welding machine, any adhesive. Just a simple flyer, long knots, and the regular tools," Ponce said.
He began creating simple metal artworks from scrap materials back in his home country. After arriving in Qatar in 2006, the Filipino decided to explore the art of metal sculpture using spoons and forks after watching an animated movie.
Since then, Ponce has finished 16 sculptures, including motorbikes, a tennis player, robots, and a quad bike.
