Thousands of mourners lined up to pay their respects to Brazilian football legend Pele who was lying in state in the centre circle of the Vila Belmiro Stadium in Santos on Monday.
Pele, considered by many to be the greatest football player of all time, died Thursday at the age of 82 after a long battle with cancer.
Soccer legend Pele was the only player in history to win three World Cups, in 1958, 1962 and 1970. Pele also holds the world record of 1,279 goals in 1,363 appearances across all matches, including friendlies.
