
Spain: National team arrives in Madrid after crashing out of World Cup
The Spanish national football team landed back in Madrid from Doha on Wednesday after being knocked out of the World Cup by underdogs Morocco.
Luis Rubiales, President of the Royal Spanish Football Federation was seen leaving the airport alongside coach Luis Enrique.
Players Unai Simon, Dani Olmo, Aymeric Laporte, Pedri and others were also seen departing from the airport.
Former 2010 champions Spain crashed out of the World Cup after losing 3-0 to Morocco on penalties in the Round of 16.
After defeating Spain, Morocco became the first-ever Arab country to reach the tournament's final eight. They face Portugal on Saturday for a place in the semi-finals.
