Golden Dawn MEP Eleftherios Synadinos was ejected from the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Wednesday. The incident took place following comments by Synadinos that disparaged Turkish people.

"Turks are like wild dogs when they play but when they have to fight against their enemies they run away. The only effective way to deal with the Turks is with decisive and resolute attitudes," said Synadinos, in reference to this week's EU-Turkey summit. European Parliament President Martin Schulz expelled Synadinos from the chamber for the remarks which he stated broke parliamentary procedure.

The proposed EU-Turkey deal stipulates that one Syrian refugee be resettled in the EU for every Syrian refugee returned to Turkey, while aid from the EU to Turkey for handling the refugee crisis will be doubled from three to six billion euros.
