France: Check out the men's underwear fighting infertility and cancer
Underwear that fights male infertility and other health issues including testicular cancer is now a reality, with production underway on Thursday in Chatillon-en-Michaille. Three 25-year-old French entrepreneurs have developed a textile partly produced with silver thread that absorbs electricity from electromagnetic waves, creating a barrier that blocks more than 99 percent of surrounding electromagnetic waves.
The company DUOO Underwear has already produced more than 3,000 pieces of underwear that range between 35 and 60 euro ($40 and $68). The company was launched in April 2015 after collecting its first funds with a crowdfunding campaign.
Recent studies carried out by institutes including Technion and the Carmel Medical Centre revealed that men carrying a smartphone have a 50 percent greater chances of suffering testicle cancer over their lifetime.
