At least eighteen people were killed and dozens wounded when Saudi-led coalition air-strikes struck paramedics and rescue teams from Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF / Doctors without Borders) in the city of Dhahian in the Saada province of Yemen, Thursday.
According to local sources, the dead include a child, medics from the NGO Medicins Sans Frontieres (Doctors Without Borders) and a cameraman, while 28 others were injured, including eight children.
The UN estimates that the violence has resulted in a dramatic increase in civilian casualties, with more than 5,800 people killed in Yemen since Saudi-led coalition air-strikes commenced on March 19.
