Australia: Adorable baby kangaroos rescued from bushfire
Two baby kangaroos rescued from a bushfire and wrapped in bandages to heal their extensive burns played together at the Waroona Veterinary Clinic in the western Australian town of Waroona, Friday.
The joeys were badly burnt on their paws and feet after a devastating bushfire ripped though western Australia and are now being nursed back to health by staff at the clinic, alongside hundreds of other injured animals, including cattle, cats and possums.
Climate experts warn that with rising temperatures, as well as decreasing rainfall in the south, parts of Australia are so dry the risk of bushfires is rising.
