France: Restaurant where five died in Paris attacks re-opens
The restaurant 'A La Bonne Biere,' where five people died in the Paris attacks of November 13, re-opened on Friday morning, three weeks after the tragedy.
Many customers arrived to enjoy their drinks, in an attempt to show that they will not change their "lifestyle," as one said. The management of the premises expressed their "best wishes to families and the loved ones" of the victims, and said that "we want to show them that we are stronger" than those who carried out the attacks.
At least 130 people were killed and more than 349 were left injured after a series of coordinated attacks were carried out at six different locations across Paris on November 13. The, so-called Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attack. Law enforcement units are still searching for a number of people who are thought to be involved in the attack.
